About us

The family behind the scenes of The Sofa Shoppe has been in the trade for quite some time. Our sister company Upholstery Worx was founded in 2006.
 
The Sofa Shoppe's journey began in 2015 in a small shop in Walmer. Since then our shop has trippled in size and is now located in the heart of Newton Park. 
 
Our furniture is manufactured locally at our factory, Upholstery Worx, in North End. Our items are handcrafted and therefore unique in its own way.
